RK Accountancy are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to work in an Education setting on a temporary two month basis in Halifax.
This is a 2 month temporary cover.

Assistant Management Accountant Responsibilities
Support the Faculties and Units in business planning, funding and resource modelling and the monitoring of same Assist in the preparation of management information including management accounts for designated units within the College Assist in the provision of financial information to allow the Vice Principal (Finance and Resources) and Chief Executive to monitor performance Assist in the maintenance of various subsidiary systems and ledgers within the finance unit Costing of course initiatives and on-going monitoring in performance of efficiency. Investigating and interpreting variances to budget. The preparation of management accounts and management information for the designated faculties and units within the College. Distribution of monthly accounts to Faculty and Unit Managers combined with attending regular meetings with them to discuss their monthly performance. Liaison with staff in designated faculties and units of the College to ensure appropriate information needs are met. Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts What We Need From You
Experience of management information production including management accounts To have worked in a busy and diverse finance department where both speed and accuracy are vital A good all round knowledge of finance functions. Good standard of education including GCSE English & Maths or equivalent Strong IT skills particularly excel Good Communicator
