Interim WMS Release Manager
The role has been evaluated as outside IR35
12 month contract length: Through until March 31st 2023
Details of Deliverables:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of the WMS release ensuring it is delivered to agreed timeframes, quality targets and within budget
Set the direction of the release and ensuring there is a clear plan in place
Establish and deploying governance and adherence to regulatory commitments
Control the release assuring any scope and change management is managed effectively
Work across multiple concurrent initiatives, sequencing deliveries the releases to minimise impact to operations and maximise deployment efficiency
Author and manage release processes that provide consistent methods of assessing and prioritising deployments
Coordinate communications with the business and delivery teams before, during and after releases to ensure alignment between stakeholders
Own the release schedule for the programme, interlocking with wider programme planning to manage expectations and assure delivery targets
Work with delivery teams and business stakeholders to identify and manage risks and issues relative to releases, informing go/no go decisions
Report on release successes/failures, working with all relevant teams to identify and implement improvements
Act as advisory to the business on good practice in release management
