Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager Durham

Salary: £19ph
Hours: 36 hours per week
Service: Small Care Home with Nursing

*Please note, you must have an active PIN for this role*

Flexible work schedule, 2 days on the floor fulfilling the clinical duties and the remaining hours supporting the home manager

A brand new and exciting opportunity has recently become available within Durham for a Clinical Lead to join a forward thinking care home provider.

If you are a Senior Nurse looking to make the next step in your career or a Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead simply looking for a new challenge then this could be the perfect role for you! This home has a warm, welcoming and caring environment which prides its self on its person centred residential care for the elderly, some of who have dementia and other age related conditions. The home has a CQC of Good' across the board and they always ensure the residents physical and emotional needs are a top priority.

Key Duties:
• To lead/ support a team of staff
• To oversee care plans
• Assist with training of new staff
• Support the management team
• Ensure high care standards are met on a day to day basis
• Maintaining the safe custody, administration and storage of medication
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient/resident engagement

Qualification/Skill Requirements of Clinical Lead:
• Valid PIN number (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
• Strong clinical background, in a similar setting
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards
