The Senior SAP Data Migration Opportunity:

The Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant takes ownership of consulting and client activity by advising and defining solutions and acting as a specialist who provides subject matter expertise.

They are focussed on delivering sales revenue through delivering personal and company utilisation.

They are typically recognised as a leader in a particular area within the consulting group, and assist in developing and mentoring others and innovating business propositions.

They also assist in proposition development, IP development, and winning bids.

To achieve success, it is critical that the consultant delivers on the following accountabilities:

+ Delivering solutions for migrating data to SAP and ideally with experience of S/4 migration.
+ Provide expert advice to customers around the implementation of SAP technology.
+ Presales delivery including the write-up and estimation of project proposals.
+ Requirements gathering, functional specification, data architecture, solution design, build and testing.
+ Demonstrate subject matter expertise in business domains e.g. Finance, Logistics.
+ Providing SAP support to clients on an ad-hoc basis may be required as a part of the role.
+ Experience leading client workshops and driving data migration projects & workstreams.
+ Experience of working with senior data professionals and senior business stakeholders.
+ Experience in both migrating data into SAP ERP and extracting data from SAP ERP.
+ Knowledge of SAP Data Services, Data Services RDS, LSMW and S/4 Migration Cockpit.
+ Experience of migrating data from COTS packages e.g. Oracle, Dynamics to SAP ERP desirable.
+ Knowledge of ABAP, and Document Management desirable.
+ Experience with configuration and customisation of SAP technologies desirable.
+ Experience in other SAP integration technologies desirable

About you:

+ Bachelors or Masters degree
+ SAP Certifications desirable
+ At least 4 years experience as a Data Migration Consultant with SAP technologies
+ A passion for data architecture, technologies & data governance challenges faced by business users
+ Strong leader and self-motivated
+ Analytical and detail oriented
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at senior levels
+ Ability to work with external and internal customers to ensure quality of work; professionalism and customer satisfaction
+ Flexible in terms of work environment and tasks undertaken
+ Mobile; comfortable with multiple client engagements and travel
+ Identifies new business opportunities
+ Good attention to detail and detailed tasks
