Our client is an Innovating and Award-winning consultancy based in Durham that oversees a range of exciting projects across multiple sectors. They pride themselves on their reliability and high standards of expertise to always be able to provide a reliable working relationship between company and customer and now have an outstanding opportunity for a proactive Junior Mechanical design engineer to join their collaborative and experienced team. This is a proactive team all striving to provide specialised and extensive experience throughout all their projects in order to create a highly focused and efficient service to their clients.

The successful engineer should be confident in their ability and have the drive to always work up to their highest standards. You will be technically able with regard to mechanical system designs within a variety of building types. You will have strong communication skills in order to ensure the project's completion from start to finish. Good working knowledge of industry-specific software.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
  • Ideally a mechanical engineering degree or building service degree.
  • Live locally or willing to commute daily.
  • A minimum of 2/3 years' Postgraduate experience.
  • Capable in the technical design of Mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of Hevacomp, Cymap, IES.
  • Willingness to learn Revit.
