We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a lovely care home for the elderly which is based Kidderminster. This home is part of a medium sized care group who offer a supportive working environment in a well respected care provider.

Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire

Salary range: up to £11.25 per hour

Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager Registered Manager will include:

Working alongside the Registered Manager in the day to day management of the home
Ensuring compliance within national guidelines and CQC
Developing and carrying our reviews of resident care plans
Maintaining a positive and supportive working environment through strong leadership
Provide inspiring leadership to colleagues and oversee the delivery of high-quality care

The ideal candidate to fulfil the Deputy Manager role will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and be willing to work towards Level 4 or 5
Have previous management experience in a elderly care setting with a willingness to roll your sleeves up and work as a proactive team member,
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and will be committed to promoting and developing the highest standards of care
Working knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements
A genuine passion for delivering high level person centred care to the elderly
