Page Personnel are working exclusively with a fantastic Not-for-Profit organisation based in central Lincoln in their search for a permanent Finance Assistant, a great opportunity for an individual to gain valuable experience in a busy finance function.

They are based in central Lincoln with excellent transport links, making it very commutable from Lincolnshire, Newark and Grantham.

Description

The key responsibility of the Finance Assistant is to support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day operations of the finance department, offering financial and administrative support. More specifically, the Finance Assistant will be required:
  • To assist and manage all aspects of the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
  • To raise purchase orders when required keeping relevant parties updated on the process of their requests
  • To assist with banking and reconciliation duties
  • To assist with Finance administrative work

Profile

The successful candidate will have:
  • Be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with good passes in Mathematics and English
  • Be undertaking their AAT's or have relevant experience
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Experience of accounting and finance systems
  • Experience in a busy finance function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office abilities - including Microsoft Excel.

Job Offer

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary up to £23,000 (doe) + hybrid, flexible working + 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) + staff reward scheme + other voluntary benefits
