I am recruiting for an experienced, driven and talented School Finance Manager who is willing to work on a temporary basis. Working hours are between 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8:30am-4:00pm on a Friday. Applicants must have experience in school finance and be able to start as soon as possible.
As a full time School Finance Officer, you will be expected to perform your duties to the highest standard and:
"Assist in the provision of the comprehensive financial support service
"Promote the highest standards of financial probity and value for money
"Prepare monthly reports to present to the Business Manager
"Monitor budgets within the academy
"Oversee communications with Payroll services, teacher pensions and the local government
"Oversee preparation of invoices and collection of all fees
"Maintain systems and procedures that ensure transactions are recorded
"Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial systems and processes
You will be supported by me, Georgina Longhorne. I am Aspire People's Office & Technical consultant for the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas.
