Teaching Assistant - Newham

Create Education are working with a Community Secondary School in Newham - Canning Town who are seeking an enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Applying candidates should be looking to build or further their career within Education. Aspiring teachers or experienced Teaching Assistants are preferred but not essential. The school are seeking ambitious, knowledgeable candidates with child related experience.

The potential 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be providing academic support to students throughout their school day and proactively identifying children to engage in the lesson. They will be occasionally working with mild ASD, ADHD and other learning difficulties.

The co-educational Secondary School caters to children 11-19 with mixed learning levels. They stand by a strong set of values relating to resilience and respect. Staff describe the school as a caring community where both staff and children thrive in a warm and inclusive environment.
