Operations Manager (Ground Investigations), Deeside, SOCOTEC, Salary range £45k to £60k, depending on experience + valuable benefits,

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to drive and deliver exciting projects across the North West in our industry leading Ground Investigations team.

To support our ambitious growth plans we are seeking an Operations Manager to join our thriving and growing Ground Investigations team. This opportunity will allow you to lead both field and office based projects across multiple areas, driving organic growth throughout the business unit, and managing the technical and commercial aspects of this business.

A strong, dynamic leader, with the ability to motivate and positively influence others. Your responsibilities will be wide ranging and encompass technical and commercial requirements including:

* The Financial delivery and profitability of the business, ensuring budgets/targets are met

* Day to day operations management of all projects and associated teams delivering on those projects

* Client management and business development

* Recruitment and development of the GI team

This role is based in Deeside but will support across SOCOTEC's UK sites, so a full driving license is essential. Our ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, be professional, organized and flexible. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of:

* Ground Investigation and associated techniques

* Financial management and tendering experience

* Project management

* Client management and delivery of presentations
