Salary will be £21,000 - £22,500 depending on experience

A position has become available at our Bradford office for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our small finance team of four people.

We are a family run business established over 50 years ago and are proud of our approach to staff. We encourage an environment of strong teamwork and mutual respect - we do not monitor your every move, but we do expect you to be self-disciplined and motivated and capable, after your initial training, of managing your own working day.

This opportunity involves supporting the accounts department with various administrative duties, including cash and cheque allocation, bank reconciliation, supplier reconciliation, maintaining the fixed assets register, preparing nominal journals, account queries and various other similar duties. A flexible outlook is required!

You must be:

Numerate with strong reasoning skills - at least grade 7/8/9 at GCSE maths (or A/A* if sat prior to change of grading)
IT confident
A strong communicator
Well organised and attentive to detail
Enthusiastic with a positive outlook
Friendly, polite, and professional
