Electrical Design Engineer

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Widnes

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours (Flexi Hours)

Salary: £40,000-£50,000 p.a. depending on experience. Some hybrid/work from home options may be possible.

We are working exclusively with a rapidly growing electrical engineering company. Our client is seeking an Electrical Project Design Engineer to join on a permanent basis. You will be predominantly working on the electrical design and implementation of control panels, control systems and hardware engineering. Typical sectors include Manufacturing, Energy & Water and Pharmaceuticals.

Our client operates a flexible working scheme which can involve some work from home opportunities (if desired) Office is typically open from 6.30am-5.30pm however you will have complete flexibility on your start and finish times.

Example of Responsibilities:

Develop control systems from customer's specification or internal specification
Installation and configuration/testing work at customer sites
Provide design input to system development.
Involvement throughout whole systems lifecycle, from design through testing and commissioning
Working clossey with project team to deliver customer deadlinesEssential Skills/Background:

Engineering related qualification (HND,HNC or Degree)
EPLAN P8 design software experience is essential
Knowledge of PLC system design would be preferred
Must have eligibility to work in the UK
