Key Stage 2 Teacher Needed, September Start Maternity Cover
Schools Mutual Services are looking to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Maternity Contract starting in September 2022 and lasting until the end of March 2022. This Key Stage 2 position is within a lovely, welcoming Catholic School. It is calm and ordered with a culture of mutual respect. As a Roman Catholic school, their ethos is built upon Christian values and the teachings of Christ, which underpin all areas of school life.
Working in an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Catholic primary school, you will take full responsibility of a Key Stage 2 class including planning, delivery and assessment and will be a part of the current school team.
You will be involved in parents evenings and in-house continuous professional development. You will also have the support of a full time Teaching Assistant and be expected to delegate accordingly.
To be considered for the position of Key Stage 2 teacher within this school, you must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), have recent experience in a Key Stage 2 setting and excellent knowledge of the national curriculum. You will only be successful if you are able to: give educational references; have the right to work within the UK and hold a current update registered DBS (or be willing to undertake a DBS application).
