Credit Analyst

Role Purpose

Our Brewing and Brands team are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our finance team and assist in analysing new credit applications relating to our brewing and brands business. Working as part of a supportive team, this role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse group of customers within a thriving area of Greene King, and offers the opportunity to progress either down a finance or non-finance career pathway within the business. This role offers agile working from our Bury St Edmunds office.

Key Accountabilities

• Assessing new lending applications and interpreting various forms of financial and non-financial information
• Assisting the sales teams in structuring lending proposals in order to improve loan quality and meet customer needs
• Preparing and issuing of lending documents
• Credit assessing new trading opportunities and applying appropriate credit limits and payment terms
• Maintaining the integrity of the loans system and ensuring accuracy of information
• Reviewing nonperforming loans and working

About You

This role would suit either an individual currently completing their accounting qualification, or an individual from another background with an interest in finance. More important than your previous experience is the ability to demonstrate the following skills:

• The ability to work both as part of a team and independently using your own initiative
• A proactive with a desire to problem solve and improve processes
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders
