Corporate FinanceManchesterTo £50,000 + Bonus and BenefitsThe ClientMy client is a successful corporate finance boutique who off the back of a number of successful years and having previously outsourced their financial modelling, have now bought this capability in house. As result, they are now looking to strengthen their teams in Manchester by recruiting a Financial Modelling Associate.The RoleIndividuals joining our client will have the opportunity to take on challenging projects while working with some of the brightest minds in business. This is a client facing role which sits within the new, growing Modelling team. The team provide a wide range of modelling services to their internal colleagues and external clients in a diverse range of sectors.Their modelling services include:
  • Designing and building a variety of Excel-based financial models to support clients' decision-making, for example:
    • Strategic planning models to evaluate business decisions
    • Modelling corporate transactions to understand the value and risks of M&A activities
    • Corporate planning and budgeting analysis
  • Data analysis - combine, analyse, and visualise data from a variety of sources to provide insight and enable data-driven decision-making

The PersonYou will be a qualified accountant either ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least 3 years' experience in roles requiring an understanding of financial and accounting concepts (audit, modelling, finance, debt structures). Communication is key and as is an ability to describe technical data in a clear non-technical way.
