An Education Provider looking for a Finance Officer to assist the Finance team on a 6 month FTC based in Central London - HYBRID
The role itself would be providing financial management and accounting services and support to the business, while managing information and financial statements for the secretariat funds. You would also assist with the management of payroll, pensions, revenue, treasury, payments and travel for both full time staff and contracted experts, and provide financial information to Secretariat management and the governing bodies.
The ideal candidate would have strong experience in a similar role, have good experience in balance sheet and foreign currency bank reconciliations, month end close, fixed asset accounting and would ideally be an advanced user of MS programmes, namely Excel.
In return, this role would have a hybrid set-up with the expectation of 2 days in the office and 3 working from home (first week would be office based). It is a 6 month FTC role paying the equivalent of £36,000 p/a. With the continuous development the business is going through, they are consistently looking for talent to join their team on a more permanent basis and the successful candidate would have the option to apply to one of these roles.
