Do you have experience supporting children with learning disabilities, professional, voluntarily or within a school?

Are you someone who is interested in helping nursery age students with a learning disability to improve their independence, develop their communication.

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a SEND 1:1 role for a mainstream primary school in Haringey. This SEND 1:1 role is full time and will start immediately following a successful trial day/interview. The school are looking to hire on a long-term basis for the full academic year.

The role:
· You will be supporting the child throughout the school day to achieve educational and developmental goals
· Attending to personal care needs
· Liaising with teachers, SENCO and parents to develop an individual care plan
· Monitoring child's development throughout the year

What are we looking for?
· Aspiring Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers
· A Passion for working with children with SEND
· Ideally previous experience supporting children with SEND in any environment; personal, education or care
· Personable and caring personality
· Previous support role within a school or other child related experience.
· A caring and professional manner, willing to support with the personal care of pupils.
· Must have legal right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service.
