Role

To lead a small engineering team of 5-6 people within the refrigeration industry.

You will be required to develop the team and encourage continuous improvement whist identifying and resolving issues.

You'll play a vital role in building key relationships and driving forward technical advances across the business whilst meeting the required standards and customer expectations. always

Ensuring that engineering operations are carried out in accordance with safe working systems.

Key Requirements

Good engineering experience, problem solving skills, ability to drive the business forward,

Management experience in a multi-skilled engineering position

Knowledge (or capable / willing to learn), thermodynamics / sheet metal fabrication / production techniques, ISO 9001, Electrical controls.

Represent the Company technically at meetings, with the ability to communicate well.

Investigate and resolve site issues including using test equipment,

Prepared to travel within the UK/overseas for short periods

Drawing, CAD/Inventor skills, ideally to implement parametric/automated drawings functions.

Either electrical or mechanical engineering qualification at BEng or above is desirable

Salary package

Basic salary circa £50k,

25 days holiday (in full year) + bank holidays

Pension scheme
