About The Role

At EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) we're shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe's latest high speed rail projects: HS2.

The primary purpose of our Recruitment and Onboarding function is to source new staff and ensure they have a smooth transition period leading up to their first day. We're looking for an Apprentice to join our team in Milton Keynes and support with bringing the best new talent into the business.

In this role you will help to manage the recruitment system by raising vacancies, advertising positions, filtering CVs, scheduling interviews and creating offers. You'll be involved in assigning and monitoring online inductions, as well as coordinating site inductions for both new and existing employees. Working alongside our external providers you'll support in onboarding our Labour staff by processing new starters through the system. You can expect to take part in a variety of other projects and duties such as monitoring the team inboxes and producing reports.

Whilst this role is based from our Milton Keynes office there may be times where you are required to travel to another one of our sites/offices along the trace due to the large scale of the project.

Alongside your role you'll study for a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification, equipping you with all the skills and knowledge to excel in your career.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent organisation and communication skills
Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook) is desirable
Able to work as part of a team as well as individually
Understand the importance of integrity and confidentiality
Flexibility in tasks and attention to detail.
