This is a home based role with occasional travel around England.

To work with the learners working towards level 2-5 apprenticeship standards in the following areas:

Technical

* Heavy Vehicle

* Light Vehicle

* MET

* Body and Paint

Non-Technical

* Business Administration

* Operation/ Departmental Management

* Team Leading/ Supervisor

* Customer service

* Learning Mentor

* Assessor Coach

The Skills Coach will also be a requirement to develop and create further opportunities within all the companies programmes.

The delivery will have a blend of both knowledge and skills/competence using a wide range of learning materials to encompass and enhance various learning styles to meet the standards of curriculums and satisfy internal and external requirements.

The Skills Coach will have an exciting opportunity which will benefit a person with good organisation skills and is forward thinking to develop Teaching and Learning guides, leaner's notes, lesson plans and schemes of work to meet the national occupational standards.

An essential part of this role is providing professional competence monitoring, assessment, and feedback where you will be required to assess skills/competency and knowledge of apprentices against the standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Recruitment of new learners

* The Skills Coach will complete Functional Skills with learners as required

* EPA preparation

* Conduct workplace induction for all new learners as detailed in current procedures

* Visits learners at workplace/ or remote through recorded session using Microsoft teams, carry out workplace reviews and assessments, gather evidence, assess progress and update leaner records in accordance with current procedures

* The Skills Coach will complete 28-day active learning sessions and 12-week reviews for each learner in accordance with current procedures

Requirements:

* D Or A Units Assessor

* GCSE in English, Maths and IT or equivalent
