You will be taking on the role of a Financial Controller being responsible for a large part of the Finance Division.

This will be an ideal role for a fully qualified accountant with previous experience in the Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

Preparation of rolling financial forecast
Year end audit activities
Ownership of weekly/ monthly accounts
Ownership of Balance sheet
Managing a team of around 10-15
Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards and company policies are followed
Ensure company is kept up to date with external reporting requirements
Conduct Monthly balance sheet review
External reporting
Identify processes which require re-engineering
Provide analytical review of both financial and non-financial external returns and financial accounts to ensure reasonableness, consistency and accuracy
Reporting of fringe benefits
Review balance sheet reconciliations
What is Required

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Previous Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Experience of recognised ERP system. Preferably IFS
Previous experience in a similar role
Leadership Experience
Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with both colleagues and suppliers
