When it comes to accounts you are a bit of a "Jack or Jackie of all trades" you appreciate that a supplier paid on time is a happy supplier, but you also know how to keep track of the money in the business.
Purchase ledger & Sales ledger (accounts payable & receivable) is where the bulk of your experience is.
You will know your way around Sage line 50, let's face it most companies use Sage these days, so Sage to you will be what Microsoft word is to a secretary!
Most accounts roles need you to know your way around excel, but you are not expected to be an excel guru, we'll leave that for the Analyst.

A Senior Account Assistant has joined the business recently and she needs you by her side to help with admin support for the following:
Raising purchase orders
Reconciling both purchase & sales ledger
Chasing overdue payments
Updating, checking & raising sales invoices
Setting up new suppliers
Credit control admin
I see you as someone who has perhaps completed an apprenticeship or someone with some accounts experience looking for your mentor.
If you have any experience in payroll admin this would be the absolute cherry on the cake (but isn't essential)Your career will be supported here in terms of growth opportunity and qualifications, having recently gone through a transition this business could offer you a very bright future.
This is an office based role the business operate in the hours of 8:30-5pm but will be flexible on start and finish times for the right person.
