Role Overview:
Our Oak Dry Lining Business Unit are looking to appoint a Finance or Accounts Assistant to provide finance support to the Senior Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial information reported in Ledgers and Management Accounts in accordance with the Finance timetable.
* Undertake various finance-related tasks which may include:
* Assisting in the completion of month end reporting
* Assisting in the completion of the overhead report.
* Assisting in the preparation of supplementary schedules for Management Accounts.
* Managing and updating Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
* Managing intercompany transactions.
* Preparing and posting journals.
* Supporting the preparation of weekly cash reporting.
* Assisting HY and FY Audit
* Undertaking cash management reporting within the CVR process.
* Ensuring sales invoices are raised accurately.
* Monitoring the sales ledger for prompt updating of receipts (to Shared Service Centre).
* Credit control to ensure timely collection of monies owed.
* Providing support to more senior members when required.
* Customer Credit checks for new projects.

* Very good organisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

* Willingness to get involved in key initiatives.
* Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.
