Fabricator Technician

Big Ant Group are seeking a Fabriactor / Machine Operative (Waveguide Technician).

The processes involved include the following: -

· Torch brazing and soldering of Brass, Copper and Aluminium.

· Forming (bending and twisting) of waveguide tube.

· Painting (Powder coating and Wet Spraying)

· CNC and Manual Milling and Turning.

· Silicone moulding and coating.

The role is varied and to a degree is flexible to an individual's strengths. Ideally the right candidate will....

· Be familiar with working engineering drawings.

· Have experience of using handheld metrology equipment.

· Have a good eye for detail.

Waveguide manufacture is a niche area of manufacturing, and we are used to bringing in people with fundamental skills and providing the training required to bring them up to speed with the requirements of our products.

This is a full-time temporary role; standard working hours are Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
