Are you AAT qualified or have a keen interest in accountancy? Our client has a great opportunity to progress within their company. They have been established for over fifty years and have a team of experienced staff in the many areas required to run a well-established residential, commercial, student accommodation and building company.

Option for weekly or monthly pay
Working for a family run business
Duties include:
-Production of accounts for several companies, a partnership and sole trader accounts, utilising SAGE accountancy package and spreadsheets.
-Supervision of staff and workload whilst adhering to deadlines.
-Overseeing and facilitating payrolls and payments to subcontractors. (Training given). Monitoring of Banks and reconciliation of cash books.
-Supervision of HR and employee administration.
-Liaising with Directors, colleagues and external offices/sites and external agencies.
-Production and filing of VAT returns to HMRC
-To communicate with HMRC regarding PAYE and VAT issues.
-Overseeing of monthly CIS returns and calculations. (Training given)
-Efficient filing and archiving of documents.
-Any other operational duties it may require to fulfil the role.
