Come and join a team of 12 developers in this logistics software company. They are currently leading the way in software-based logistics, ever-improving the efficiency of warehousing, transport, tracking, mobile and safety/security for their clients.

This role's biggest challenge.

The biggest challenge in this role is having the capability to understand and review the processes and complexities of a large integrated IT system alongside interacting with clients to assist in the definition of new functionalities and/or solve any issues in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

The role.

Software development
Understanding development specifications and requirements, contributing to overall design, proposing improvements and highlighting deficiencies
Following version control standards
Testing and documenting work
Offering warranty on all delivered code
Supporting issues when required, ensuring minimum impact on planned development
Recommending latest technologies and associated trainings to the Development Manager
Requirements for a successful applicant.

SQL development background
Microsoft Excel competency
Microsoft Access competency
Strong skills in build processes, code & configuration management etc.
Understanding of database design practices and patterns
Ability to understand code produced by others
Desirable but non-essential skills.

Ability to speak Flemish, Czech or Polish
VB / C# experience
