A well-known business based in Hull is currently recruiting for an Assistant Credit Control Manager to join their Head Office team. On offer is a salary circa £25,000 alongside flexible working hours and length of service holiday scheme.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, the main purpose of the Assistant Credit Control Manager position will be to support the Credit Control team and act as a point of escalation

Key responsibilities for the successful Assistant Credit Control Manager will include:

Building relationships with customers and branch directors to facilitate swift payment from customers
Act as a point of escalation for customer accounts
Control customer accounts and review and manage credit limits
Prepare written correspondence as necessary regarding customer accounts
Manage the legal process surrounding customer accounts with outstanding debt
Offer advice to branches regarding customer accounts and queriesWe are keen to speak with individuals who have previous similar experience in a Credit Control position and who can demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. You may be an Assistant Credit Control Manager or Assistant Credit Manager already and looking for a new challenge or, you may be an experienced Credit Controller or Collections Officer looking for a step up.

To be successful in this Assistant Credit Control Manager opportunity, the individual should;

Have previous experience in a Credit Controller position
Be computer literate and be confident using various accountancy packages
Have an excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
Have experience acting as a point of escalation for customer accounts
