Embedded Engineer

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be required to carry out the below-

Systems Development- Designing and Testing Systems for use by company and approving code design.

Prototyping and testing circuit designs, current and new.

Providing after- sales maintenance and support.

Work hand in hand with Production to ensure products are correctly tested as per regulations and requirements.

Understanding the whole product as a solution, including technical documentation, installation of hardware and Embedded Firmware.

Technical Requirements:

Firmware - 80% of role and primary function

C/C++, Programming, object based
Embedded programming
ARM Processors
Programming for STM32 devicesHardware - Secondary function

3D-ModelsPersonal Requirements:

Minimum 3 - 5 year of Embedded & Electronics Experience.
Minimum of HND or Degree Level in Electronic or programming.
Able to be flexible on travel within the UK and abroad when required to meet customers and suppliers.Desirable, but not essential experience

Defence industry practice / knowledge
Motor Control, Power Electronics, Hydro Systems, Pumps, Control SystemsPhysically capable of going on board ships and into environments that may have confined spaces
