IT Supplier Management Specialist
Driven candidate with skills in IT Supplier Management and Sourcing/Procurement required for an exciting hybrid role at a market-leading, global financial services organisation.
In this key role, you will bring your broad experience gained in a Service Management environment to lead and monitor the relationship, ongoing performance and contractual commitments of strategic, tier-1, IT suppliers to the organisation.

Joining a talented, supportive team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of reporting, contracts, policies and processes, to ensure delivery of business-aligned IT services. You will lead on supplier work order analysis, ensuring the terms are aligned with the strategy, sourcing policy and supplier's commercial framework, making sure the business is obtaining the best value and heading in the appropriate direction. You will be responsible for onboarding of new suppliers, new IT procurement contract and renewal negotiations and will run/support various sourcing events for key projects specific to software. Alongside this you will be constantly looking at mitigating risk, cost management and managing stakeholders.
To be considered you must have experience in an IT Supplier Management, Sourcing, Procurement or Contract Management role where you have dealt with Tier 1 IT suppliers. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a financial services environment or regulated environment where you understand the intricacies of managing suppliers and contracts within the guidelines and frameworks laid out.
You will be proactive, highly organised, resilient, a great communicator and capable of building effective relationships. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and will be able to analyse and improve practice and processes. An ability to work at pace and to deadlines is also required as are strong teamworking skills.
IT Service Management background (ideally with an ITIL qualification)
Strong experience in IT procurement
Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers and contracts in a regulated environment
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess technical escalations
High level of commercial knowledge with sound business acumen
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong ability to assess and interpret contractual terms whilst aligning to the business objectives
Delivery focused with an ability to help others get on board quickly with changing priorities.
This is a hybrid role that will see you split your time between home office and one of the organsiations offices near Portsmouth (there is a lot of flexibility on this as well as hours worked).
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £50,000 as well excellent benefits including a generous 12% pension, annual bonus, private medical contribution, 25 days holiday plus perks such as virtual GP appointments, free flu jab and other flexible benefits.
