Hudson Shribman are working with a fantastic company that have an exciting new opportunity for a Vehicle Build Technician to join their team in Woodley, Reading.
Duties and responsibilities:
Building full vehicles (old style - new build)
Building associated sub-assemblies including pedal and steering boxes
Fitment of all components
Working with a team of technicians on a range of projects
Consulting on and resolving build and quality issues as they arise
Following build quality control processes
Complying with all safe systems of work processes in an automotive assembly environment
Opportunity to attend and support automotive events
Experience required
Great knowledge, understanding and experience as a build technician
A keen interest in engineering
Competencies required
Outstanding attention to detail
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a flexible approach
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated to learn and develop
Organised and motivated with the ability to use initiative
Productive and efficient with the ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines
Good judgement with commitment, integrity, honesty, discretion and respect
Pay and Benefits:
£13 - £18 per hour depending on experience
20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and optional holiday purchase scheme
Pension Scheme with Company Contribution
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
