Autism Learning Support Role:

£80 - £90 per day (PAYE)


Contract dates: long term with the opportunity of a permanent contract.

The role of the Autism Learning Support Assistant is to support a number of students in school with more complex social, emotional and behaviour needs. This role will involve working in small groups or 1:1 across either primary or secondary aged students.

The role would include:

Supporting pupils throughout the school day
Holding 1:1 or small group sessions
Aiding with the set up and set down of the classroom
Maintaining high levels of health and safety with the pupils
Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class
As a successful candidate you MUST have:

Availability Full Time - 8:30am-3:45pm Monday to Friday
Experience using resources such as PECS, Makaton or TEACCH (desirable but not essential).
