Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Director of UX Research that will lead, create, plan and implement research initiatives that guide how we build innovative experiences and products. They will identify and set product strategy, create/define complex requirements and build a team of talented researchers with unwavering curiosity to ask why and dig deeper to understand the root causes of ambiguous customer problems. They possess a clear vision of the future of user experience research and have the spirit to pursue innovative design and influence.

The UX Research craft is a part of the Publicis Sapient Experience Design Capability. This group is the bridge between business strategy and technology, creating meaningful, holistic experiences for our clients and their customers. Your Impact
  • Craft clear narratives and goals for the team to deliver on quality work and foster a positive team culture
  • Achieve actionable insights through observations and discovery
  • Research evangelist and foster a data-driven approach to User Experience
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of various research, usability, and ideation methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
  • Guide the direction for discovery, research and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and develop hypotheses to design effective experiences
  • Focus on the people development of team members; manage and mentor more junior researchers on work quality, approaches, and presentation
  • Sell the quality of both the team's work and the work that clients should be doing
  • Possess a proven set of design skills, which might include visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, strategic design methods (such as design thinking), user research, or writing
  • Conduct, analyze, and report research as needed at an expert level; generate advanced insights that guide product strategy, feature design, and prioritization
  • · Help guide systems design for impacting users' needs
  • · Deliver high-quality work through managing others
  • · Possess a holistic view of the work to generate realistic goals for their project teams to meet
  • · Clarify and define success metrics for client and business impact
  • · Design detailed solutions that address clear customer needs, business context, client vision, and project KPIs
  • · Guide the creation and facilitation of workshops, structured brainstorms, or other collaboration exercises
  • · Model the relationship for collaboration between Experience and Engineering capabilities


Qualifications

· Deep visioning and narrative creation skills

· Data and insights analysis to determine experience success metrics & KPIs

· Experience leading teams and mentoring careers of associate design talent

· Ownership and guidance of your and your teams' overall design process

· Complex research, system mapping and process mapping

· Mastery of user research and testing

· Advanced prototyping skills with either software or live code

· Advanced knowledge of audits and competitive landscaping

· Project scope estimating and managing

· Consultancy and business strategy client experience

· Public speaking and pitch delivery
