As the Senior Azure Engineer, you will join an incredibly talented team of technical experts, and hit the ground running on some very exciting project work, centred on cloud-focused transformation.
You will operate at a senior level, covering data-centre project work and full service-offering cloud migrations, focused heavily on Microsoft Azure and Office365 technologies.
Partnering closely with Architects, you will help develop the company's existing on-premise infrastructure components, whilst driving a transition of these technologies into the cloud.
The role will have strategic responsibilities, and you will utilise your technical expertise to audit and survey the existing environment, to then help provide recommendations and subsequent implementations of hardware and software improvements for both core infrastructure and EUC technologies.
You will take ownership of critical incidents, and be part of a technical team of experts that acts as a 3rd Line escalation point for key BAU issues.
Automation will be a key focus, and you will be involved in the development of scripts, utilising tools such as Powershell.
The role will have the flexibility to be fully remote-based if you wish, but you will also be part of an on-call team, that shares responsibility for supporting any P1 incidents impacting business systems outside of core hours.Profile

In order to be successful for this Senior Azure Engineer position, you will be highly experienced at a project level in:

Windows Server 2016 and 2019, including patching, maintenance and administration
Microsoft Azure, including Azure MFA, Azure site recovery and Azure security.
Azure AD, including Group Policy Management
Office365, InTune
SAN Storage

£60,000 - £65,000 Starting Salary
