CNC Turner Setter
Shildon, Co Durham £32,000 - £38,000

A well-established family run precision engineering company who have been producing precision parts for nearly 50 years. Job Profile
As the successful CNC Turner you will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team of other highly skilled Machinists for very approachable manager, offering a stable and well-structured role.
Duties
* Setting and operating CNC lathes
* Setting lathes with Fanuc controls
* Set and operate CNC lathes
* Machining complex parts and components from various general engineering materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Brass
* Producing components to tight tolerances from 1offs through to medium batch runs
* Operating in a 5s manufacturing environment
* Manual Quality Control Inspection on first offs
Skills and Experience
* Able to set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
* Able to read engineering drawings
* Knowledge of 5s manufacturing environment
Hours of Work & Benefits
* 38 hrs per week average
* 21 days shift pattern
* 3 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 6 off, 3 days, 1 off
* 35% shift allowance
* 20 days holiday
* Pension
