The main duties within the role include;

* Ensuring that daily credit control activities are completed on time and in line with agreed procedures.

* Ensure that appropriate telephone contact is made at the earliest possible stage on overdue debts, in accordance with the Credit Control timetable.

* Processing payments accordingly.

* Allocating payments to the correct accounts through an internal system, facilitation of telephone credit card payments from customers.

* Resolving all issues and queries affecting the collection of outstanding debts.

* Ensuring Company procedures are followed at all times.

* Liaison with internal Business Development Managers regarding accounts.

* Suspend credit facilities in accordance with Company credit policy.

* Assist with internal company reports and adhere to strict reporting deadlines
