This Maintenance role is working with a 100+ year old market-leading international manufacturing business in a heavy manufacturing environment based close to the Skelmersdale area. The role is days-based working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a salary of £35,000. Premium overtime is also available, and this role also offers fantastic opportunities for both personal development and top-level accredited training.
The role will be working as part of the Maintenance Team providing 'Hands-on' mechanical maintenance to their manufacturing machinery, working on hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes, shafts and bearings etc. With further planned investment and expansion at the site, we are now seeking a qualified mechanical maintenance engineer to join their team. Applicants are invited from either multi-skilled technician or mechanical maintenance background.

Main Duties & Experience required:
Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support, and mechanical repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
Experience covering motors, drives, inverters, conveyors, gearbox's etc
Multi-skilled maintenance experience is also desirable
Recognized Engineering qualification- NVQ L3, City and Guilds etc
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
