Description
To assist with the company's busy buying and selling function in line with Group strategy and policy
To work alongside the Procurement & Planning Co-ordinator by arranging shipment of goods to and from overseas locations
Prepare and present transaction documents supporting purchase and sales transactions
Liaise with Customer Services and Site Managers regarding readiness of cargo against sales orders, ensuring that all transactions are arranged in a timely and accurate manner.
Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange appropriate transport of goods, e.g. road, sea, air
Prepare and present transaction documents supporting purchases and sales transactions.
Assist with resolution of logistical issues arising, e.g. transport and warehousing
Assist the Procurement & Planning Co-ordinator in the buying of raw materials from suppliers, both domestic and overseas, in accordance with consumption forecasts.
Processing, checking and coding of related purchase invoices and any related administrationProfile
Ideally 2+ years working experience within the field of Purchasing and/or Sales Administration
High standard of IT literacy and skills
Educated to 'A' level or equivalent
Genuine interest in international trading
Willing to learn and attend suitable training courses
Proactive use of time and working to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skillsJob Offer
Full time, permanent contract
£ 26-28k salary
23 days holiday, increasing to 25 days
