Linux Systems Administrator

Eclectic has partnered with a highly successful technology company who have a rare permanent opening for an experienced Linux Systems Administrator. This is a permanent full time position, hybrid working with flexibility on working hours, and has some great company perks!

Key responsibilities will include:

Resolve any technical issues by working with the wider systems team

Ensuring that business critical systems are always operational

Build, deploy, maintain and ensure all engineering and infrastructure tools are operational

Manage configuration documentation and operations run books

The successful candidate will have:

Working experience providing 2nd/3rd line support

Configuration and Automation management tool knowledge, particularly Ansible & Puppet

Operational experience administering Linux servers in a production environment

A minimum of 3-4 years of demonstrable experience managing production environments with technical proficiency

Competency in networking and a scripting language

Keen to continuously develop knowledge of different technologies
