Prospero Teaching are recruiting a HLTA to work at an Ofsted 'Good with Outstanding features' school in Camden.
You will provide learning support to pupils and work in groups and on a 1:1 basis not always with the support of a teacher and therefore previous experience is essential. Ideally you will have a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification, however, those with previous experience in a similar role will be considered too.
The school is an amazing place, the SEN department is lead by a fantastic SENCO who has a wealth of experience, is a passionate educator and manages the department well. The team is made up of approx. 15 teaching assistants from a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience, some support students where English is an additional language, some with ASD or Autism, other students have behaviour needs and other have physical needs. The team is a supportive, collaborative environment and is a really great place to work.

Location - Camden
Position - HLTA
Contract Type - Temporary
Minimum Daily Rate - £110
Hours - Full time Monday - Friday 8am -3.30pm
Start Date - Sept 2022
HLTA REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications - HLTA (Level 4) or QTS
Previous experience in a similar setting
DBS checked against both Children / be willing to apply for a new one at the cost of £45
Be able to provide two references covering the past 2 years of employment
Candidates will be subject to a full agency registration to be put forward for this role.
