We are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Fitter on behalf of our client to repair and maintain machinery (lathes) and associated equipment in the busy factory.
Our client are specialists in the manufacture of threaded inserts for plastics, woods, light metal alloys & composite materials located in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Fault finding and repairs on machines, both mechanically and electrically Planned and preventative maintenance Ordering of spares Installation of machinery and projects Machining of spare parts Problem solving for maintenance of machines etc. Understanding of engineering and electrical drawings Active input into process improvements. Experience Required:
City and Guilds Mechanical parts 1.2.3 or equivalent. City and Guilds Electrical 18th edition (Preferred) Minimum 17th edition beneficial. The role is varied and would ideally suit someone with good general all round maintenance experience of working within a "traditional" engineering environment. Experience of working on machine tools or similar would be beneficial, although ongoing training and support is available to suitable candidates.

Rotating shift pattern which alternates weekly between
7.00 to 14.30 and 14.00 to 22.00 (19.30 on Fridays)
