This is an exciting role for a talented User Experience Designer to build and shape the design function within their lovely business. You'll be joining initially as their sole designer, so a desire and ability to work autonomously, in a busy role with lots of stakeholders is key for success here.
This role is crucial for creating amazing experiences for the businesses users. You'll play a leading role in user research activities, and create beautiful, enjoyable and efficient user experiences!
What you'll mainly do
Create wireframes and prototypes for potential solutions based on user needs and values
Build and maintain excellent knowledge of the platform user types and needs, keeping informed with market and tech
Map user journeys, identifying areas for improvement
Design new experiences which improve the user journey, gathering stakeholder feedback
Work closely with Product managers to plan new features, and also work closely with Customer Experience, sales, and Editorial teams
Review existing platform pathways to identify areas for improvement
Who you are:
3 years + experience in a Design role and a strong portfolio to showcase your experience
Experience conducting user research activities
Comfortable working with senior level stakeholders
Experienced working with software developers and product teams
Comfortable working autonomously, as a sole designer
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
Experience within a fast paced environment/small businessThe extra stuff:
They're based near Swindon, but this role can be offered on a very much hybrid basis. Once a week (or more if you like!) in the office would be ideal for them.
