Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Finance Manager.

The company:- Is a European corporation, established over 30 years ago and have a multi site presence all over the world. They group offer distribution and supply chain solutions to their clients on a global basis. The company generate revenues in access of £1b and are supported by a dynamic workforce of 3000. They are the company 'go to' in their field and an immediately recognisable brand.

The role:- Preparation of the financial accounts pack and the management accounting of support departments. Ensuring the financial integrity of the statutory accounts and developing a robust financial accounting/internal audit process and system. Preparation of statutory accounts for all UK and Irish entities, monitoring accounting activities and reporting developments in UK GAAP and IFRS, manage annual and quarterly audits and be the first point of contact between the auditors and the company, preparing VAT tax returns, Month end closing tasks, reviewing and and updating internal control procedures and authority matrix and recommending and implementing best practices to ensure a smooth flow of information is achieved.

The person:- Graduate, qualified ACA/ACCA, with at least 2/3 years PQE. A proactive get involved approach, likes to challenge how things are done, with strong problem solving skills and an eye for detail. Perhaps from a practice background or with a multi site supply chain/logistics background. Well presented, confident and resilient, strong communication and influencing skills, with a high awareness of current technical accounting and reporting requirements under both IFRS and UK GAAP.(SAP and HFM experience desirable)
