PA to General Counsel + Legal Team Mayfair Up to £60,000
We are looking for a collaborative, friendly and experienced Senior PA to join a highly successful global alternative investment firm to support their General Counsel and three other members of the legal team. They are based in the heart of the West End and they tend to hire PAs who are collaborative, friendly, calm, used to dealing with complex international travel and more than happy to muck in and help others. This role offers flexible working with two days working from home.This is a great role where you will be working very closely with the General Counsel and will be a true right hand.


Senior PA supporting the General Counsel and three others, the role will include the following duties
  • Extensive and complex diary and travel management
  • Sending, reviewing and filing NDAs
  • Organising the execution of legal documentation and arranging board and committee meetings
  • Providing assistance with the Legal team's recruitment process and assist with onboarding
  • Prepare and edit relevant materials for team, including PowerPoint presentations, Word Documents, and Excel Spreadsheets. Edit for accuracy and clarity of final copy; proofread for spelling, grammar, format for consistency and make the appropriate changes
  • Expenses management
  • Process legal and track invoices in the legal billing system
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as required from time to time
  • Work collaboratively with the other PAs to provide cover


The ideal PA will have experience working within a legal or a compliance background at either a top law firm or from a similar finance environment. The General Counsel will really rely on the PA to have excellent PowerPoint skills to provide decks to senior management. There is some Excel required, so again we need a PA who is comfortable putting together simple spreadsheets.

Other key requirements

Bachelor's Degree or ten or more years of administrative assistance experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rigorous work environment; demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines

• Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities - must demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude towards given tasks, plan ahead for potential issues and take appropriate action

• Exemplary interpersonal skills necessary to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Role continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy

• Superb written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail when composing and proofing materials required

• Team-oriented and collaborative attitude is a must

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint


• Paying up to £60k - this will be dependent upon previous comp and experience

• Two days working from home
