Our client is a dynamic firm of accountants who offer a full range of compliance and consultancy services. Based in lovely offices near Belsize Park, they are looking to recruit a Client Manager who can manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard and that all deadlines are met. This is a hybrid position with flexibility to work from home two days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
l Looking after a portfolio of clients with responsibility for the completion of VAT returns, management accounts and statutory accounts.
l Delegating work to junior and semi-senior staff
l Reviewing first draft and offering feedback to junior staff
l Liaising with clients, Senior Managers and Directors to resolve any issues
l Finalising the work for filing with HMRC or Companies House
l Allocating time to client work
l Reviewing billing schedules and advising Senior Managers/Directors on cost overruns and additional billing opportunities
Skills & Attributes:
l Either qualified (ACA or ACCA), part-qualified or qualified by experience
l Good academic record at A-level; degree preferred
l Excellent written and verbal communication skills on email, telephone and online (zoom/teams)
l Strong working knowledge of MS Office (excl Powerpoint), Xero/Sage line 50 & preferably CCH or Iris practice software
Salary & Benefits:
£40k-50k depending on experience
