A leading supplier of specialist equipment is currently recruiting a Calibration Technician / Calibration Engineer. The successful candidate will be well-practiced with providing high quality calibration of process control equipment and the role involves travel throughout the UK so candidates can be based from home.
Salary: £ 32,000 - £ 38,000 p.a. + company vehicle + benefits
Suitable for: Calibration Engineer, Calibration Technician, Instrumentation Engineer, Instrumentation Technician, Control Systems Engineer, Automation Engineer, Controls and Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer.
The Role
Working as part of the European calibration team; the role of Calibration Technician / Calibration Engineer will be predominantly based on customer's sites in the UK and candidates must be free to travel on a weekly basis.
Key responsibilities:
Calibrating process control equipment (electrical, temperature, pressure)
Fault finding in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation (inc. PLC) systems
Calibrating relative humidity
Follow process working to UKAS standards
To have a creative approach to problem solving
The Person
The successful candidate will be an experienced Calibration specialist ideally with experience working within a UKAS Laboratory environment. You must be flexible to travel to customer's sites throughout the UK with occasional worldwide travel dependant on your schedule. You must hold a full UK driving licence.
