Salary: £27.00 per hour
£50 per shift expense allowance
Hours per week: 50+ hours per week
Duration: Long term, ongoing contract

Client Summary:
The Shorterm Group is a Rolling Stock Recruitment specialist and provides staffing solutions for clients across the Industry. We are representing a leader in railway rolling stock engineering and enhancement. They run a number of projects across the UK and specialise in improving Rail Vehicle performance and utilisation.

The client are a specialists in refurbishment, upgrade and Modification Company within the rolling stock industry that have been operating from the Wolverton Depot for over 30 years. They are currently making huge innovations in the hybridisation of rolling stock in the UK and have already achieved marked success by re-tractioning of the class 455, 321 & 442.

They also offer vehicle interior maintenance and can offer a full turnkey solution for any refurbishment project in the rail industry, making them a cornerstone of the UK rolling stock market and a key contact provider for the sector.

Position Summary:
We are looking for Skilled Electrical Testers that are capable, proactive and adaptable technicians who relish working in a heavy engineering environment.

Person Profile/Experience:
*Successful Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;
*Relevant Electrical qualifications.
*A highly self-motivated individual, able to work under your own initiative.
*Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
*Ideally have knowledge of modern rolling stock systems and Train depot operations.
*Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams / schematics and to work unsupervised once they have an understanding of what is required.

Qualifications & Skills:
Relevant NVQ, C&G, BTEC level 3 in Electrical Engineering or time-served
