We are seeking an experienced customer facing Lead Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer who has a background in software solutions (preferably developer tools) and has a passion for helping customers with architecting Technical Solutions.

Our client is a supremely well positioned + funded ($32m to date) AI tech start-up. For a top flight software + product focused Pre-Sales specialist it represents a dazzling opportunity.

The role:
  • Leading the pre-sales technical process
  • Working alongside the sales team to navigate the technical aspects of the sales process
  • Understand the customers needs and identify how the product can be improved
  • Use your knowledge in developer tools to help deliver valuable evaluations for customers, coaching them in best practices and diagnosing issues in the deployment
  • Interact with business stakeholders, customers and management to understand and refine user stories and the product backlog
  • Have a passion for innovation and improvement whilst recognising that customers are the priority
The Lead Pre-Sales Solution Engineer will have:
  • Excellent oral and written communication & English language skills
  • Demonstrable experience of guiding commercial technical conversations
  • Strong experience of leading the technical pre-sales process
  • Has a coding background and, if Java isn't a current skill, is willing to learn Java and the Java ecosystem
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills and technologies and adapt to arising challenges
