Technical Lead London to £85k

Technical Lead (Golang TypeScript AWS Microservices). Do you want to head up a talented engineering team? Would you enjoy working within a well-established, hugely successful start-up that is continually growing? You could be joining a team that have created a unique product used by several well-known transport company's and are now looking to expand their team and scale their engineering efforts.

As a Technical Lead you will manage a talented cross-functional team of 5 whilst working on the core platform which is hosted on AWS. You'll split your time between hands-on development, utilising Golang and TypeScript, and people management duties including mentoring, conducting 1 to 1s and shaping the team culture. This role doesn't require previous people management and therefore is a perfect opportunity for a senior developer looking for an opportunity to step up into a leadership position.

Based in central London, you will join a technology driven company where you can enjoy a number of perks such as a flexible working model (1 day a month working in the office).

  • An experienced developer / polyglot who has good coding skills using any programming language, however you must be happy using Golang and TypeScript going forward
  • You will ideally have some mentoring experience or demonstrate leadership capabilities and a willingness
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
