Our Medtech client based in the South UK is looking for a Chief Product Officer reporting to the CEO.

Our client has gone through a significant period of rapid growth and due to evolving circumstances, they are now looking at developing new medical software products and utilising different routes to market.

In this role you will be responsible for leading all aspects of product performance, driving improvement and ensuring internal teams are fully aligned. You will provide the technology vision for our client and their future software based products.

It is expected that you will have an MSc/ PhD in Biomedical, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area. In addition, you will have prior experience of working in a Medtech start-up/ scale-up at senior level. You will have a proven track record of managing teams across multiple disciplines and the unique ability to align technology and commercial goals. You will have scaled teams during rapid growth and also have a good understanding of the regulatory environment for medical products.

Your key responsibilities will include developing our client's product strategy and ensuring the product architecture supports the business strategy. You will ensure regulatory compliance and introduce software development lifecycles. You will evaluate the current internal systems and infrastructure and improve as required. You will also drive research into any new technologies that could improve our client's overall competitive advantage.
