SEND Teaching Assistant
This fantastic school in South Bristol are excited to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to support with Key Stage 1 and 2.
They are looking for someone who is caring and passionate about working with children, who can provide support on a 1-2-1 basis, or in small groups. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need experience of working in a SEND school, but they may have gained the necessary skills in youth clubs, support work, in their own families, or in the Care sector.
To be successful you will need:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Have experience of working with children, or vulnerable groups
To inspire and motivate pupils
To work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff members
To have the belief that all children can achieve great things and are able to unlock their potential
Be able to use their initiative in meeting the needs of the child and in adapting and/or developing activities and games that support the development of the child's independent communication and learning skills
